With a sleek low-profile cowling design, matched with a silky-smooth four-cylinder engine configuration, inside of a compact and light-weight body, the F50 looks as good as it performs. Within the F50 is a proven single overhead cam, 996cc, four-cylinder marine engine, that delivers an excellent power-to-weight ratio and exceptional refinement and fuel-efficiency. Out of the entire 4-cylinder 50 horsepower category, the F60 is the only Japanese Manufactured engine in its class; which translates to superior reliability, refinement and quality that Yamaha engines are renowned for. Utilising Yamaha’s exclusive Multi-Point Fuel Injection System (EFI) and Electronic Control Module (ECM), the F50 delivers impressive power and torque, smooth and comfortable operation, low noise levels and emissions, and the best fuel-economy in its class.

The class-leading F60 has been hailed as one of the finest mid-range outboards ever produced. Brilliant fuel economy matched with great torque and power means versatility that is second to none.Within the F60 is a silky-smooth, 996cc, four-cylinder marine engine, that delivers an excellent power-to-weight ratio and exceptional refinement and fuel-efficiency. The launch of Yamaha’s F70 changed customers’ expectations of outboards in this category forever. Beating in the heart of the F70 is a unique four-cylinder, 16-valve design activated by a single overhead camshaft. The 4-valves per cylinder valvetrain has dramatically increased this outboard’s volumetric efficiency, effectively transferring more air and exhaust at a more efficient rate. This makes the F70 more fuel-efficient, promotes a stronger torque band and makes the F70 lighter than all four-stroke and direct injected two-stroke competitors. The F70’s awesome performance offers huge versatility and makes it the perfect power option for a huge range of mid-sized fishing boats and pleasure craft.

With its advanced 16-valve, four-valve-per cylinder, Single Overhead Camshaft (SOHC) design and large 1.8 Litre displacement, the F75 delivers the ultimate combination of unbridled power and refined performance for the mid-range outboard market. The F75’s lightweight powerhead configuration, refined shaping of the combustion chamber and lean fuel burn technology, means this outboard is extremely fuel efficient, while also delivering an exceptionally smooth and quiet riding experience. This outboard is compatible with Yamaha’s comprehensive range of Command Link gauges and NMEA2000 compliant, meaning you can share engine information with third party multi-function displays, GPS and fish finder systems.

The next-generation F90 is a direct-evolution of the previous 1.5 litre model, delivering increased fuel-efficiency, reduced-weight and improved performance. Filling an important place in Yamaha’s class-leading mid-range line-up, the new F90 delivers the perfect power option for the large number of Aussie built boats that have a maximum hull rating of 90 horsepower. The four-cylinder, 16-valve, SOHC 1.8L marine engine, is not only 10KGs lighter, but an increase in displacement over the previous generation 1.5L engine aids in a richer torque-band. The reduction in weight and improved compactness has been achieved through the adoption of a single overhead camshaft valve-train, delivers smooth and efficient performance only seen in 16-valve, four-cylinder engines of this size. The new F90 delivers a 10% improvement in fuel-efficiency and a significant reduction in noise, through improved engine unit rigidity, muffler redesign and the addition of an intake silencer. The Yamaha F90 is compatible with Yamaha’s range of Command-Link gauges, while its NMEA2000 compatibility allows for easy integration with third-party multi-function displays, GPS and fish finders.

The all-new Yamaha 90-horsepower In-Line Four V MAX SHO® may be the smallest in the V MAX SHO® line, but it packs the biggest punch of any 90-horse on the water.
Its SOHC four-valve-per-cylinder design minimises weight while optimizing combustion. In fact, its lightweight design combined with 1.8L displacement makes the VMAX SHO 90 the class leader in torque and top speed. A reconfigured gear ratio also gives the VMAX SHO 90 greater holeshot and improved top-end speed over it’s F90 sibling. The all-new Yamaha VMAX SHO 90, the latest addition to the VMAX family.
